Your Langtang Valley adventure begins with a scenic 7–8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The journey offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, flowing rivers, and lush green hills.
Upon arrival, you can explore local Sherpa and Tamang villages to experience their rich culture. Spend the night at a guesthouse in Syabrubesi.

Begin your trek by crossing a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River, continuing along the Langtang Khola and past Guru Rinpoche Gompa.
The trail climbs through the lush bamboo and subtropical forests of oak, maple, spruce, and pine. You may spot wildlife such as Langur monkeys, wild boars, martens, and occasionally red pandas.
Stay overnight at the Lama Hotel.

The trail ascends gradually through dense forests, offering views of Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,244 m).

The village features Tibetan-style houses, carved windows, and farmlands of barley, buckwheat, potatoes, and turnips, with yaks grazing nearby.

Trek along a gentle uphill trail past Mundu Village (3,543 m) and several mani walls before crossing small streams and moraines to reach Kyanjin Gompa.

Visit the government-run cheese factory to taste fresh yak cheese and curd. Spend the afternoon exploring the area and enjoy distant views of Ganja La (5,160 m) and Yala Peak (5,500 m).
